BRS MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar donates Rs. 50 lakh to Petla Burju Hospital
BRS Rajya Sabha member Joginapally Santhosh Kumar fulfilled his promise made to donate Rs. 1 crore to Petla Burju Government Maternity Hospital in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi Rajya Sabha member Joginapally Santhosh Kumar fulfilled his promise made to donate Rs. 1 crore to Petla Burju Government Maternity Hospital in Hyderabad where he was born.
Santhosh Kumar on Tuesday issued a cheque for Rs. 50 lakh from his MP lads funds while Telangana state Health and Finance Minister Harish Rao handed over the cheque to Superintendent of the hospital Dr. P Malathi on behalf of Santhosh Kumar.
The MP made it clear that he would release the remaining amount of Rs. 50 lakh in the next financial year.
Assuring further support to the development of Petla Burju Hospital, Santhosh Kumar said he would encourage his friends to extend support to the hospital for the enhancement of the infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Minister Harish Rao spoke on the occasion and showered praises on Santosh Kumar. He said Santhosh had stood as an inspiration to many other public representatives with his social cause.
