Chikkoti Praveen gets bail in Arms Act case

HYDERABAD: The Nampally Court in Hyderabad granted bail to city-based gambler and casino king Chikkoti Praveen on Wednesday.

On July 16,2023, a case was filed by the Chatrinaka Police against Chikkoti Praveen while he was about to enter the Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple in Lal Darwaza with his private security guards on the occasion of Bonalu festivities in Secunderabad.

The police named Chikkoti Praveen as Accused No 1 on July 17,2023, apart from registering a case against Praveen for possessing unlicensed weapons under the Arms Act.

Three persons were earlier detained by the police in this case.
