HYDERABAD: To prepare an error-less voter list for the ensuing elections, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Ronald Rose has urged the voters under the city limits to correct mistakes if any in the enrolled list.
The voters were advised to take up corrections by filling up form-8. However, one must first download the voter helpline app on their mobile phone or refer to the Election Commission of India (ECI) website at https// votes.eci.gov.in to list out existing mistakes.
Voters could take up corrections about names in more than one polling booth, mismatch of photographs, unclear documents and photographs, incorrect door numbers, spelling mistakes, wrongly mentioned relationship status, and updation of mobile numbers. If the voter's name is mentioned in some other constituency, then they could seek correction by filling up Form-8.
Those voters who have an EPIC number but whose number was missing from the voter's list could apply with the help of form-6 for redressel. One can also link voter ID with Aadhar by filling out form 6B.
