HYDERABAD: The new Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty has said that every police officer traveling in a police vehicle must sit in the seat next to the driver to ensure better coordination and communication among the police team.
Speaking at a media conference, the Cyberabad CP announced certain changes in the police department after the formation of the Congress Government in Telangana state. He emphasised the importance of accessibility to the public and advised station officers to receive complaints from every applicant and work towards resolving the cases promptly.
He said that police should work in such a way to ensure that the police were responsive to the needs of the community and maintain public trust. He urged them to issue orders for bars, restaurants, wine shops, hotels, and tiffin centers within the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Commissionerate to operate within the designated time specified by the police
Regarding the traffic problem under the Cyberabad jurisdiction, Commissioner Mohanty directed the police officers to find a solution to alleviate the issue and further warned that strict action would be taken against anyone who violated the orders issued by the Cyberabad Police.
