Cyberabad CP extends financial aid to home guard’s kin

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra on Friday handed over a cheque for Rs Rs. 11,60,000 to the kin of G. Srinivas, a home guard of Medchal Traffic police station, who had died in a road accident on January 25.

The cheque was handed over to the victim’s family. Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Narayan Naik, Addl.DCP Traffic Srinivas Reddy, ACP Medchal Traffic Venkat Reddy, and Inspector Narsimha Reddy were present.

G. Srinivas on the midnight of January 25 met with accident while performing his duty at Kandlakoya Junction and died. The victim belonged to a very poor family. He is survived by wife and two children.

The Cyberabad police officers collected contributions to the tune of Rs. 11,60,000.

The policemen from all three commissionerates generously came forth to support the family further corporate sector too came forward to help the survival of the victim’s family members.

The Cyberabad Police persuaded HDFC Bank officials as he was maintaining salary account in that bank and its officials issued a cheque towards insurance of Rs. 30,00,000. The same was handed over to victim’s family members by Addl. DGP Abhilasha Bist on behalf of the DGP of Telangana State.
