Drunk youths ram car into shop in Vanasthalipuram at 180 kmph

HYDERABAD: In a shocking case of drunk driving, a few unidentified youths, in an inebriated state, are suspected to have rammed their car at high speed into a shop in NGO colony of Vanasthalipuram in the early hours of Tuesday. As was evident from the speedometer, the car was being driven at a shocking speed of 180-km per hour at the time of the accident.

 The youths were suspected to have fled the scene soon after causing the accident. The inmates apparently received injuries in the mishap even as blood stains were found on the seats of the car. The front portion of the ill-fated vehicle suffered heavy damage while the airbags opened.

 Reportedly, three youths were in the white Nissan car which rammed into the 'Rose Footwear' shop. The car is believed to have gone berserk in the area before crashing into the shop. But fortunately, there were no casualties reported since the accident happened in the early hours.

Locals, who were out for an early morning walk, said that the youths appeared to be in a drunken condition. The three boys fled from the location after the accident.

The police, who rushed to the location immediately, said that they were looking for the youths in nearby hospitals as they suspected serious injuries.
