NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has called for the first meeting of the newly constituted Congress Working Committee (CWC) in Hyderabad on September 16.
“Congress president has decided to convene the first meeting of the newly-constituted working committee on September 16 in Telangana, which will be followed by an extended working committee meeting," said AICC general secretary KC Venugopal on Monday.
Giving details of the schedule the general secretary said that the extended working committee meeting on September 17 would be attended by the CWC members, CPP presidents, CLP leaders, and Parliamentary party office bearers. On September 17 evening, the Congress would be holding a mega rally near Hyderabad. All senior leaders would be present at the mega rally, where the party would unveil five guarantees to the people.
After the public meeting, on September 18 the Congress leaders will hit the constituencies going door-to-door distribution of the five guarantees and chargesheet against the BRS governmen
