HYDERABAD: The Task Force team of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) conducted inspections at Halo Cocktail Bar and Kitchen in the Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad.
The task force team, which conducted the inspection on June 4, 2024, found several lapses at the restaurant, including no medical fitness certificates for food handlers with the Food Business Operators (FBOs), and the restaurant was found storing vegetarian and non-vegetarian food articles together.
Food articles like Golden Rings Keora Water, Malabar Parota (Half Baked), and Spicy Black Bean Sauce were found expired and hence discarded on the spot. Food articles like Corn Flour, American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar, Black Pepper, Tea Powder, etc., were seized for not having proper labels.
Most of the semi-prepared food articles stored inside the refrigerator were found with expired or beyond-use-by dates and hence discarded on the spot. However, the FSSAI License's true copy was displayed at the billing counter.
