Formula E 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix organisers issue traffic restrictions, spectator guidelines

HYDERABAD: The Formula E 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix Race Day is approaching fast, and the organisers have issued details on road limitations and spectator standards. The restrictions were implemented to ensure the safety and comfort of all racing fans on race day.

Routes restricted for vehicles

Khairatabad Flyover, Necklace Road, (from Jal Vihar to Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi Statue circle), NTR Marg, Mint Compound Lane, IMAX Rd, Secretariat North Road, and the underpass of Telugu Talli Flyover.

Gate Information

The list of entry gate numbers according to the seating arrangement can be found in the ticketing booklet.

Parking Information

Parking information is also mentioned in the ticketing booklet. A shuttle service would be provided to pick up the spectators from the parking lot to the track.

Metro Information

The Khairtabad metro station would lead to gate 7, while the Lakdikapul metro station will lead to gates 3, 4, and 6.

Timing for Spectators

The gates would be open from 7:30 am and spectators are expected to arrive by 1 pm.

Restricted Items

A list of restricted items is available on the Ace Nxt Gen website. These items include food and drink, sharp weapons, firearms or their replicas, fireworks, chemicals, aerosols, various types of poles and sticks, drones, roller skates, face-covering costumes, needles, plastic bottles larger than 500 millilitres, glass bottles, blunt objects, laser pointers, and alcoholic beverages.

Guidelines

Ticket holders would be able to use the metro for free on the day of the race. Spectators were also recommended to use public transport to reach the track.

ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will make its way to India for the first time with a race scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on February 11, 2023, accelerated by Greenko overlooking the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake.

An overwhelming 22,000 plus spectators would be converging at the race venue to watch history in making, the tickets for the race are near sold out, and very few tickets are available.
