#GiftASmile: KTR pledges support to 47 orphan children as he turns 47 on July 24

HYDERABAD: Minister for IT and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao will be celebrating his 47th birthday on Monday by personally supporting orphan children of the State Home Yousufguda run by the Women and Child Welfare Department.

“Tomorrow on the occasion of my 47th birthday I pledge to personally support 47 meritorious children from 10th and 12th grades and 47 more from the professional courses under the ‘Gift A Smile’ initiative,” KTR said.

In addition to a laptop, each one of them would receive two years of intense coaching from the best institute for their firm future. “These kids choose to win every day. Toppers who have embraced adversity and not let it steal their dreams. Adversity dealt the kids a raw deal, but they are wards of the state. Rest assured,” he said in his tweet.

KTR urged the BRS party colleagues to come forward and support orphans in their own way rather than splurging money on advertisements, wishing him the best birthday wishes.

Techies to save lives on KTR’s birthday

Over one thousand techies of IT Hub in Hyderabad, the IT Capital of India will celebrate the 47th birthday of IT Minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao on July 24, 2023, at Divyashree NSL IT park Behind - Raidurgam Police Station, Khajaguda in Hyderabad. The entire event will be organised under the aegis of the Telangana Facilities Management Council (TFMC).

Giving details, Satyanarayana Mathala, President of TFMC said that out of the 10,000 employees that work in the IT towers 1,000 techies would be lining up to donate blood. The camp would be held from 11 am to 5.30 pm.

“We took this program under an initiative called Gift a Smile. The camp is organised in collaboration with Red Cross. A total of 5 doctors with 40 nursing staff will support this initiative,” Satyanarayana added. It was a unique and purposeful celebration of a political leader, who transformed the IT Industry canvass in the last few years, he said.

A mosaic of 18,000 books

Telangana State Technology Services (TSTS) Chairman Jaganmohan Rao extended birthday wishes to KTR innovatively by creating a mosaic art portrait of the latter with 18,000 notebooks.

The TSTS chairman who is a hard-core fan and follower of KTR since the Telangana movement showed love and affection to the leader through the mosaic of notebooks. Speaking on this occasion, Jaganmohan Rao said that the notebooks used to make the portrait would be distributed to needy students as part of the ‘Gift A Smile’program to celebrate KTR's birthday.

On the other hand, KTR's son Himanshu Rao will release his new song on Monday on the occasion of his father's birthday. He said that it will be his first song on Spotify. It remains to be seen what he has in store for his father.
