GMR Hyderabad International Airport introduces new routes to Amritsar, Lucknow, Kochi with Air India Express

HYDERABAD: GMR Hyderabad International Airport on Friday announced the addition of four new flights to its domestic routes in collaboration with Air India Express, taking air connectivity to the next level.

Beginning November 17, 2023, travellers can look forward to convenient and exciting new flights to Amritsar, Lucknow, and Kochi.

Passengers can now enjoy a daily flight between Hyderabad and the historic city of Amritsar. Air India Express flight IX 954 from GMR Hyderabad Airport to Amritsar will depart at 07:30 am and arrive at 10.15 am.

Air India Express flights to Lucknow IX 953 will depart at 2:30 pm and arrive in Lucknow at 04:35 pm, providing the convenience of six weekly departures between Hyderabad and the cultural capital of Lucknow.

In addition, experience the daily flights between the city of pearls and the enchanting coastal city of Kochi. Air India Express flight IX 955 from GMR Hyderabad Airport to Kochi will depart at 7:45 pm and arrive at 9.30 pm.

The flights on these new routes will be operated with Air India Express' latest Boeing 737-800 aircraft, featuring a striking new livery and an impressive tail design. This new design reflects the dedication to offering passengers a fresh and modern travel experience, along with the latest amenities and comforts during their journey.

With the addition of these exciting new flights, Air India Express will provide 19 domestic departures from GMR Hyderabad International Airport, significantly strengthening our network and giving passengers increased travel options. In addition to these domestic routes, Air India Express will continue to operate one international departure, ensuring global connectivity for the passengers.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport will now offer a total of 47 weekly departures to Cochin, 20 weekly departures to Lucknow, and 6 weekly departures to Amritsar. This expansion underscores our commitment to providing passengers with a wide range of choices for their travel needs.
