Govt event in LB Stadium on August 19: Avoid these routes in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions will be put in place in Hyderabad on Saturday between 11 am and 5 pm in connection with distribution of subsidy cheques to minority beneficiaries at LB Stadium.

THE TRAFFIC WILL EITHER BE STOPPED OR DIVERTED AT THE FOLLOWING PLACES/ROUTES ON NEED BASIS

• Traffic coming from Chapel road, Nampally and intending to proceed towards BJR Statue would not be allowed and would be diverted at AR Petrol pump towards Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction.
• Traffic coming from SBI Gunfoundry side and intending to proceed towards Press Club/Basheerbagh Flyover would not be allowed and would be diverted towards Chapel Road at SBI Gunfoundry.
• Traffic coming from Ravindra Bharathi and Hill Fort road and intending to proceed towards BJR Statue/ SBI Gunfoundry would not be allowed and will be diverted towards Sujatha High School at KLK Building, Fateh Maidan.
• Traffic coming from Basheerbagh Flyover side would not be allowed to take a right turn at BJR Statue and should proceed up to SBI Gunfoundry and take right turn towards Chapel Road.
• Traffic coming from Old MLA quarters towards Basheerbagh would be diverted at old MLA Qtrs towards Himayatnagar Y Jn.
• Traffic coming from King Koti and Boggulakunta proceeding to Basheerbagh via: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan would be diverted at King Koti X Roads towards Taj Mahal or Eden Garden.
• Traffic coming from Basheerbagh towards PCR would not be allowed and will be diverted at Basheerbagh towards Liberty.

JUNCTIONS TO BE AVOIDED WHERE TRAFFIC CONGESTION IS EXPECTED BETWEEN 11 am and 5 pm on Saturday:

Old Police Control Room, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, A.R. Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Ravindra Bharathi, Lakdikapool, Iqbal Minar, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market and Hyderguda.

RTC BUSES:

The RTC Buses plying from Ravindra Bharathi towards Abids should avoid L.B. Stadium main Gate i.e. in front of Khan Lateef Khan Building and take diversion at A.R. Petrol (Public Gardens) bunk towards Nampally Station Road.

The Invitees attending to the Distribution of Subsidy Cheques to Minority Beneficiaries are requested to refer to the below table regarding alighting and parking place.

ALIGHTING POINTS AND PARKING PLACES FOR INVITES:

People can park their vehicles at the VIP vehicles Parking A-Gate, LB Stadium Tennis Court, Sanath Nagar F-Gate, LB Stadium Nizam College Gate No 4 and Khairatabad G-Gate, LB Stadium Public Garden.
