HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has renamed three metro stations in Hyderabad by adding prefixes to the existing names and installed the boards as well.
According to HMRL, the Lakdikapool station received the prefix of NMDC while Begumpet and Hi-Tech City will have the additional name of SBI at the beginning.
It is learned that the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited has taken the decision as part of developing the project and recovering the losses by extending advertisement to the business and enterprises through a tender process.
