Hyderabad all set for Bonalu from June 22, festivities to kick off from Golconda

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad is all geared up to host the auspicious festival of Telangana Ashadam Bonalu from Thursday, June 22, 2023 with fervour. The month-long festival will begin with the Golconda Bonalu followed by the Secunderabad Mahankali Bonalu.

Marking the beginning of the Golconda Bonalu on Thursday, Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Indrakaran Reddy and Mohammed Mahmood Ali will participate in a procession at Langar House and present silk robes to the goddess on behalf of the State Government.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Government has made all the arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the festivities with no scope for inconvenience to the devotees. Talasani Srinivas Yadav has conducted a series of review meetings with the officials of various departments and gave directions for smooth the hassle-free conduct of Bonalu.
