HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad District Education Officer (DEO) has issued instructions to all deputy educational officers and deputy inspectors of schools in the city to ensure that no private school management operating State/CBSE/ICSE schools in Hyderabad District sells uniforms, shoes, belts, etc., on school premises.

The DEO also clarified that the sale of books, notebooks, and stationery at the school counter should be on a non-commercial, no-profit, no-loss basis, as per court orders.

Furthermore, the DEO instructed all Deputy Educational Officers to establish a mandal-level committee to regularly monitor private schools and ensure that no private school management, whether state, CBSE, or ICSE-affiliated, sells uniforms, shoes, belts, etc., on school premises.

Additionally, according to court orders, if there is any sale of books, notebooks, or stationery at the school counter, it should be on a non-commercial, no-profit, no-loss basis. If such sales occur, the matter should be brought to the attention of DEO Hyderabad for necessary action.

Therefore, all Deputy Educational Officers and Deputy Inspectors of Schools in Hyderabad District are urged to take prompt action and submit compliance reports to the undersigned as instructed by the DEO.
