Hyderabad Police nab four for rowdy sheeter's murder in Bandlaguda

HYDERABAD: The South East Zone police apprehended four people on Wednesday for the murder of a rowdy sheeter, Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer, in Bandlaguda on August 11, 2023.

According to the police, the deceased Shaik Bawazeer, a rowdy sheeter from Chandrayangutta, was previously involved in nine cases in various police stations in Hyderabad and Rachakonda, including three POCSO cases.

The deceased met main accused Ahmed Bin Hajeb, who was also in jail for a case registered at Mirchowk police station, in 2021 while in Chanchalguda Jail for a POCSO case booked at Chandrayangutta police station, and they became friends.

Following their release from prison, Ahmed Bin Hajeb and Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer maintained their friendship, during which Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer persuaded Ahmed Bin Hajeb to indulge in unnatural physical relationships with him.

Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer even began pressuring Ahmed Bin Hajeb to bring his friends to him in order to satisfy his unnatural need, which resulted in Ahmed Bin Hajeb bringing his friend to the deceased, who engaged in unnatural relationship with him. The deceased even attempted to have an unnatural relationship with Mohammed Ayub Khan, but he refused.

Knowing the relationship between Ahmed Bin Hajeb and the deceased, the second accused Ahmed Saadi and the fourth accused Saleh Saadi plotted to eliminate the deceased with the help of Ahmed Bin Hajeb and Mohammed Ayub Khan in order to settle personal grudges between the Ahmed Saadi family and the deceased.

An extensive investigation revealed that the deceased had been making videos of negative statements against the families of Ahmed Saadi, Abdullah Saadi, and Saleh Saadi's political beliefs and defaming them in public through news channels and social media on a regular basis.

Ahmed Saadi, the fourth accused, Saleh Saadi, and the fifth accused, Omer Sadi, plotted and executed the murder of Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer after inviting him to the Barkas area. On August 11, 2023, they stabbed the deceased multiple times after sprinkling chilli powder in his eyes.

The three apprehended accused were brought before the court for remand, and further investigation would be conducted based on merit and facts, with adequate evidence. Efforts continue to be made to apprehend the remaining fourth and fifth accused.

Ahmed Saadi and the fourth accused Saleh Saadi along with fifth accused Omer Sadi planned and killed Shaik Bin Abdul Rahmaan Bawazeer after calling him to Barkas area. They stabbed the deceased multiple times after sprinkling chilli powder in his eyes on August 11, 2023.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand hailed the investigating team for exposing the facts of the murder case and solving it in record time.

A case was registered Cr.no. 207/2023 U/s 302, 120-B R/w 34 IPC of Bandlaguda police station.
