Hyderabad police seize Rs. 2.09 crore, arrest six
The police also seized a Kia Seltos and a Suzuki Access scooter from their possession
HYDERABAD: The Commissioner's Task Force North Zone Team and Gandhi Nagar police in Hyderabad nabbed six offenders and seized an unaccounted sum of Rs. 2.09 crore on Monday.
Police discovered unaccountable cash from a suspicious vehicle near the NTPC Intelligent Office Building in Kavadiguda, Secunderabad, during a vehicle check in accordance with the election Modal Code of Conduct. The police also seized a Kia Seltos and a Suzuki Access scooter from their possession.
Police arrested six individuals including Dinesh Kumar Patel, Sachin Kumar Vishnu Bai Patel, Jitender Patel, Shivraj Naveen Bai Modi, Meet Rakesh Patel, and Thakor Nagji Chaturji during the vehicle check.
The arrests were carried out under the supervision of various police officials, including the Dy. Commissioner of Police and OSD (taskforce): P. Radhakishan Rao, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Asst. Commissioner of Police K. Ravi Kumar, North Zone Inspector K. Saidulu, and Gandhinagar Police Station Inspector N. Ravi.
Miyapur police seize Gold, Silver jewellery worth Rs. 15 crore
Miyapur police apprehended three individuals carrying gold and silver ornaments without proper bills and seized 16.646 kg of gold and 23.588 kg of silver jewellery worth Rs. 15 crore during vehicle checking near Miyapur X-roads.
