Hyderabad traffic police impose traffic diversions ahead of public meetings on March 12

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad traffic police imposed traffic restrictions in view of various programs in the city at Imperial Gardens, Parade Grounds and LB Stadium on March 12, 2024.

Traffic restrictions at Imperial Gardens and Parade Grounds, Secunderabad

Traffic diversions and parking arrangements will be implemented from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 12, 2024, in connection with the visit of Union Minister Amit Shah to Imperial Gardens, Secunderabad, and the Mahila Sadassu meeting attended by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

Hyderabad city police requested the general to avoid roads from Panjagutta – Greenlands – Begumpet to Secunderabad Parade Grounds and traffic congestions are expected at surrounding roads of Parade Ground, further road between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads will be closed.

Traffic congestion is expected at the following junctions

• Chilakalguda X roads
• Alugaddabai X roads
• Sangeeth X roads
• YMCA X roads
• Patny X roads
• SBH X roads
• Plaza
• CTO Junction
• Brookbond junction
• Tivoli Junction
• SweekarUpakar junction
• Secunderabad Club
• Trimulgherry X roads
• Tadbund x roads
• Centre Point
• Diamond Point
• Bowenpally X roads
• Rasoolpura, Begumpet
• Paradise

Hyderabad police requested to avoid MG Road, R.P Road and S.D Road between 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

General passengers planning evening trains from Secunderabad Railway Station and RTC buses from Jubilee Bus Station are advised to start early and utilize the Metro Rail Service.

Diversion points for the general public

• Traffic Coming from Alugaddabai and Sec’bad Railway Station will be diverted at Sangeeth X roads towards Clock tower – Patny –Paradise.
• Traffic Coming from Tukaramgate will be diverted at St. Johns Rotary towards Sangeeth – Clock tower – Patny –Paradise.
• Traffic coming from Sangeeth X roads towards Begumpet will be diverted at YMCA towards Clock Tower – Patny - Paradise – CTO – Rasoolpura – towards Begumpet
• Traffic coming from Begumpet towards Sangeeth X roads will be diverted at CTO X roads towards Balamrai – Brooke Bond - Tivoli –SweekarUpkar – YMCA - St. Johns Rotary – towards Sangeeth x roads.
• Traffic coming from Bowenpally, Tadbund, towards Tivoli will be diverted at Brook Bond towards CTO – Ranigunj – Tankbund.
• Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards YMCA – Clock Tower – Patny or towards Tivoli-Brook bond - Balamrai-CTO.
• Traffic coming from Patny, vehicles will not be allowed towards SBH-Sweekar Upakar, The same will be diverted towards Clock Tower-YMCA or Paradise-CTO.
• Traffic Coming from RTA Trimulgherry, Karkhana, Malkajgiri, Safilguda towards Plaza will be diverted at Tivoli towards Sweekar-upakar, YMCA or Brook bond, Balamrai, CTO. If the traffic is congested at Tivoli & Club-in the traffic will be diverted towards Bowenpally Market and AOC.
• Traffic coming from Jubilee Hills Check Post towards Begumpet will be diverted at Panjagutta towards Khairtabad and at Green lands towards Raj Bahavan.

BJP party meeting at LB Stadium

In view of the BJP Party meeting at LB Stadium on March 12, 2024, the following traffic restrictions are likely to be implemented from 11 a.m to 7 p.m.

The traffic will be either stopped or diverted at the following places/routes on need basis

• Traffic coming from AR Petrol Pump Junction towards BJR Statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at A.R. Petrol Pump towards Nampally.
• Traffic coming from Basheerbagh towards A.R. Petrol Pump via BJR Statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at BJR Statue towards, SBH, Abids- Nampally station road.
• Traffic coming from Sujatha School lane towards Khan Lateef Khan building will not be allowed and will be diverted at Sujatha School junction towards Nampally.

Junctions to be avoided where traffic congestion is expected between 11 a.m to 7 p.m. on March 13, 2024

Panjagutta, VV Statue, Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa), Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad, Lakdikapool, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, A.R. Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayat Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market and Hyderguda.

RTC Buses

The RTC Buses plying from Ravindra Bharathi towards BJR Statue should avoid L.B. Stadium main Gate i.e. in front of Khan Lateef Khan Building and take diversion at A.R. Petrol bunk towards Nampally.
