HYDERABAD: President Droupadi Murmu, graced the Global Spirituality Mahotsav being held at Kanha Shanti Vanam – the headquarters of Heartfulness- on Friday. The four-day spirituality summit, organised by the Ministry of Culture and Heartfulness, stood out for bringing together spiritual leaders of all faiths and communities on one platform to elevate collective human consciousness. Themed "Inner Peace to World Peace," the conference aimed to foster interfaith dialogues and facilitate people of all ages and walks of life to connect with spirituality in their daily lives.
The President toured the exhibition stalls at the summit and lauded the legacy of the Heartfulness mission. The President then emphasized, “Global Spirituality Mahotsav will propel humanity towards spirituality. Spiritual luminaries like Mahavir, Ravidas, and Gurunanak have bestowed India with a unique identity as the spiritual epicenter of the world. Bharat is the cradle of the ideals of Ahimsa and Compassion, bestowed upon us by our ancient sages, and strengthened by our great spiritual gurus. Today, great spiritual leaders and lakhs of people have come together to foster harmony, irrespective of differing belief systems. I congratulate Daaji for globalising the Heartfulness movement to 160 countries across the world. This is a sacred endeavour. I am delighted that the Ministry of Culture and Heartfulness have organised this Global Spiritual Mahotsav themed at Inner peace to world peace.”
Rev. Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, remarked, “We are deeply honored to have the President of India with us today. In these times, humanity must unite resolutely. There is an urgency to prevent further wars, chaos, and strife. If each of us comprehends that we are all one, with the same Divine Light within, we can transcend our differences. However, this understanding comes through meditation and higher consciousness. Therefore, the summit aims to enlighten everyone that we must collectively strive for the common goal of self-realisation.”
