Journalist Sushil Rao's India's Green Heart documentary screened at 4th Nadi Utsav in Delhi

HYDERABAD: India's Green Heart, Dusharla Satyanarayana, a documentary film directed by senior journalist Chilkuri Sushil Rao, was screened at the 4th Nadi Utsav in Delhi on September 23, 2023.
The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (INGCA), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized a three-day program from September 22-24. Films on preservation of rivers and environment made by filmmakers from different parts of the country were screened during the festival.
Dusharla Satyanarayana(69), who was the subject of the 'India's GreenHeart Dusharla Satayanarayana', was honored on the occasion. The documentary film chronicles Dusharla's 60-year preservation of a 70-acre forest on his ancestral land in Raghavapuram, near Suryapet, Telangana.
Justice Prakash Srivastava, chairman of the National Green Tribunal, highlighted the crucial role of rivers in sustaining life during the 4th Nadi Utsav inauguration.
