HYDERABAD: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a fresh summon in the Delhi excise policy case for Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter and BRS leader K Kavitha on March 20, 2023.

The fresh summons follows Kavitha's refusal to appear for an ED summons on Thursday, citing a pending Supreme Court challenge to the summons. Kavitha's six-page representation of the ED, according to reports, was denied.

Kavitha Kalvakuntala refused to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today. Instead, she sent BRS general secretary Soma Bharath Kumar to the ED headquarters to inform them of her decision on her behalf.

The YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy has also been summoned to appear before the Enforcement Directorate on March 18, 2022. Raghava Reddy, Srinivasulu Reddy's son, has already been arrested in connection with the same case and was imprisoned in Tihar jail under judicial custody.
