HYDERABAD: Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and other prominent BRS leaders paid their respects to the late MLA of Secunderabad Cantonment, Lasya Nanditha, who tragically passed away in a car accident on Friday.

KCR, along with senior BRS leaders like Sabitha Indra Reddy, visited the Karkhana residence of Lasya's father Sayanna who was also a former MLA. Tragically, Sayanna also had passed away in the same month last year. KCR offered condolences to Lasya's mother and elder sister Niveditha.

 Preliminary postmortem report

A leaked preliminary postmortem report of Lasya painted a chilling picture of the accident. Lasya reportedly died due to severe head injuries and internal bleeding, sustained when she was thrown forward and collided with the back of the front seat, as she was not wearing a seatbelt. Fractures were found in her thigh bone, rib cage, and one leg. The report also detailed extensive injuries to her head and chin, along with internal damage. Lasya was traveling in a Maruti Suzuki XL6 car at the time of the accident.
