KCR suffers abdominal discomfort, tests reveal small ulcer

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Sunday underwent a few medical tests at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli following a brief illness. He was taken to the hospital from Pragathi Bhavan after he developed abdominal discomfort.

According to a statement by the AIG Hospitals, Dr Nageshwar Reddy, chairman and chief of gastroenterology, personally examined the chief minister following which a CT scan and endoscopy test were performed on him.

The hospital statement, issued in the name of Dr Nageshwar Reddy, said that a small ulcer was found which is being managed medically. “His all other parameters are normal and appropriate medication has been started,” it said.

KCR was accompanied by his wife Shobha and daughter Kavitha during his visit to the hospital.
