KSRTC bus stolen from Chincholi bus stand, police find it at Tandur in hours
The Karnataka Road Transport Corporation thanked the Karnataka police and Tandur police for their help in finding out the stolen bus
HYDERABAD: The police from Telangana and Karnataka traced the location of an RTC bus that was stolen from Chincholi RTC bus stand in Karnataka at the border of Telangana state in Tandur within 12 hours after the theft.
The bus with a registration number KA38F971 parked at Chincholi RTC bus stand of Karnataka state was stolen by someone around 3.30 am on Tuesday. The RTC staff, who found the bus missing, informed the Gulbarga Divisional Commissioner Veeresh who, in turn, complained to the police.
The police set up special teams and started the investigation taking the help of the Telangana police. After examining the CCTV cameras at various locations, the stolen bus was found at Bhukailas in Tandur mandal. The Karnataka police along with Tandur police, RTC DC, and staff reached Bhukailas and took the bus into their possession.
It is noteworthy that the bus stolen was recovered within nine hours after the complaint thanks to the police of Karnataka and Tandur.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the case . The Karnataka Road Transport Corporation thanked the Karnataka police and Tandur police for their help in finding out the stolen bus.
