The walk, organised on Sunday, saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 75 residents and staff members. During the walk, participants engaged in discussions about the critical need to use water judiciously, especially considering the challenges of sourcing water from over 180 kilometers away. Srikanth emphasised the importance of respecting water resources, warning that failure to do so could lead to a water shortage shortly. In a symbolic gesture of commitment, all attendees collectively took a water pledge, vowing to consume water wisely and prevent any unnecessary wastage.

"We are thrilled to see the community come together to address this pressing issue. By working together and making small changes in our daily routines, we can ensure a sustainable future for generations to come,” said Srikanth.

Karunakar Reddy added, “It's inspiring to witness such proactive participation in raising awareness about water conservation. Every individual has a role to play in safeguarding our precious water resources.”

The event concluded with a call to action for continued efforts in water conservation and an invitation for other communities to join the movement.
