Leaf artist pays tribute to Swamy Vivekananda on 161st birth anniversary

HYDERABAD: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's 161st birth anniversary, a leaf artist Gundu Shiva Kumar engraved the philosopher's photo on a cadamba leaf and Ashwatha Patra.

Swami Vivekananda is a renowned philosopher whose teachings and ideals continue to inspire millions of people across the globe. He emphasised the importance of self-realisation, service to humanity, and the unity of all religions. Through his powerful speeches at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893, he introduced the world about the rich spiritual heritage of India.

Swami Vivekananda's legacy lives on through the establishments of the Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Mathas, which continue to serve society by providing education, healthcare, and welfare programmes. His teachings on the importance of education, character-building, and selfless service are particularly relevant in today's world.
