Mahaveer Jayanti: No non-vegetarian on Sunday, all meat shops, abattoirs to be closed

HYDERABAD: All the cattle, sheep, and goat slaughterhouses of GHMC and the retail meat and beef shops within the limits of GHMC will remain closed on Sunday (April 21, 2024) on account of 'Mahaveer Jayanti'.

The GHMC veterinary section in a statement here on Saturday said that all officers concerned must ensure the restriction with the cooperation of the municipal staff.

In a nutshell, all the non-veg shops retail or otherwise will be closed this Sunday.
