HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a man has died of asphyxiation after chicken bone struck in the throat whil having meals at Elikatta village in Farooqnagar in Rangareddy district.

The police identified the deceased as Jitendra Kumar Verma Dharmender Tiwari, originally from Jharkhand state. He had been residing in a rented room in Elikatta village over period of time. However, hime was found dead in his room.

Upon discovering his body, the police promptly arrived at the scene along with clues team, a medical examiner, to investigate the situation. The body was subsequently transported to the government hospital for a post-mortem examination where the doctors confirmed that the cause of death was asphyxiation as a chicken bone struck in the man's throat.
