The expansion of MMTS services improves rail connectivity between different regions of the twin cities, particularly in the city's east. The Multi-Modal Transport System is the most cost-effective mode of commuting for travellers within the twin cities region, with a minimum fare of Rs 5 and a maximum fare of just Rs 15.

Passengers from the newly connected areas such as Medchal, Bolarum, Malkajgiri, Umdanagar, and others will be able to travel within the city limits in a safe, secure, faster and more cost-effective manner. This service will be very useful for students, small-time traders and businessmen, women, employees, and other commuters.
