Narayanaguda police arrest 2 for exploiting, blackmailing girl with explicit videos

NARAYANAGUDA: An Instagram love pushed a young girl into a ‘debt-trap’ and sexual exploitation besides also making her the target of blackmailing with explicit videos in Hyderabad. The incident came to light following a complaint lodged with the Narayanaguda police by the victim after the young girl's explicit videos with another man were sent to her lover.

According to reports, a young girl fell in love with a Chennai-based youngster after coming in contact with him through Instagram. When her lover, who needed money, sought her help, the girl approached one of her friends, Aslam.

Aslam, who said he had no money, came up with an indecent proposal. Stating that his friend Sai Charan would give her the required money, he put the condition to the girl that she would have to have sex with his friend. For reasons best known to her, the girl instantly agreed to Aslam's proposal and went to a room in OYO Silver Oak hotel in Narayanaguda.

Aslam, who was also present there, recorded the explicit videos of the girl with his friend and started blackmailing her. Aslam reportedly sought both financial and sexual favours from the girl in return for his silence on the videos. When the girl refused to oblige, he allegedly forwarded the girl’s nude videos to her boyfriend in Chennai.

Based on the girl’s complaint, the Narayanaguda police arrested the two accused, Aslam and Sai Charan. Investigation is going on.
