Officials seize Rs 6.50-Cr of Congress leader from six cars near TSPA junction

HYDERABAD: Vigilant election officials and the police seized over Rs 6.5 crore in cash stashed in six cars at a farmhouse near TSPA junction, popularly known as APPA junction near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) on Saturday.
The money allegedly belongs to a Congress leader from Khammam who is contesting in the upcoming Assembly elections. It is believed that the flying squad has credible information about the movement of the huge sum of money.
