Parents, student unions attack Brilliant Engineering College after student goes missing

HYDERABAD: Tension trigge red at Brilliant Engineering College at Abdullahpurmet in Ranga Reddy district after parents joined hands with student unions protested after a student went missing.

The student identified as Anjaneyulu from Kondareddypalli village in Vangoor mandal in Nagar Kurnool district was pursuing engineering at Brilliant Engineering College. On August 20, Anjaneyulu borrowed Rs. 500 from hostel warden and went missing.

As the parents have been unable to contact their son since then, they went to college to inquire about the issue. However, the parents received no proper response from the college management, which irritated them.

Student unions staged a massive protest in response and demanded action from the college management regarding the student's disappearance. The situation turned tense as student unions attacked the college breaking glasses.
