HYDERABAD: In a cross-border love story akin to that of Seema Haidar and Sachin Meera, police arrested a lover from Pakistan who came to Hyderabad in search of his lover, whom he says he married in Dubai.
Mohammad Fayyaz a young man took the infamous Nepal route to cross borders into India and arrived at the ‘City of Pearls’ Hyderabad. He wanted to meet his girlfriend who he impregnated after they got married.
As the girl belonged to Hyderabad and staying with her parents, Fayyaz who was working in Dubai, wanted to meet her but was unable to get a visa to legally enter India. It was reported they both first met in Dubai while they were employed there and later the girl returned to India.
In a similar but sensational case, Seema Ghulam Haider from Karachi, Pakistan reached India via Nepal to meet her PUBG friend Sachina Meera. They got married and reside in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida in New Delhi.
South Zone police are investigating the antecedents of the young man from Pakistan.
