Despite starting the works on 2020, the works were delayed due to various reasons such as the outbreak of Covid-19 and the lack of oxygen cylinders for welding work.

According to the officials, the 660-metre-long Uppal skywalk project built with 37 pillars is six metres above the ground and has eight lifts, six staircases, and four escalators. Meanwhile, the HMDA Urban Forest system will contribute to the greenery by planting saplings.
