Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly by-election: BJP nominates Dr TN Vamsha Tilak

HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) central election committee on Tuesday nominated Dr TN Vamsha Tilak as the party candidate for the ensuing Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly by-election. He was working president, Naizam Vimukta Swatantrya Amruthotsavalu.

The election was necessitated by the sudden death of former Cantonment MLA Sayanna’s elder daughter Lasya Nanditha in February. The BRS nominated Sayanna’s elder daughter Gaini Nivedita.

The Congress has nominated Narayanan Shri Ganesh as the party candidate.
