Sintex to invest Rs 350 crore in Telangana, creating 1,000 jobs

HYDERABAD: Sintex, a partner of the Welspun group of companies, has announced that it will invest Rs 350 crore for a manufacturing unit in Telangana which will create around 1,000 job opportunities.
The manufacturing facility would be established in Chandanvelly, located in Rangareddy district. The company's production lineup includes water tanks, plastic pipes, auto components, and various other equipment.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony for Sintex's manufacturing plant would take place on September 28, 2023, where the Chairman of Welspun Company, BK Goenka, and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) would grace the event.
KTR expressed happiness over the Welspun Group's continued expansion in Telangana, stating, "Many new investments are flowing into the State thanks to our excellent infrastructure. The expansion of existing companies is equally crucial for Telangana's development. We have ensured that companies receive timely support and infrastructure to facilitate their growth."
He further extended a warm invitation to Sintex Company, assuring them of comprehensive assistance from the State Government.
