Software Engineer meets watery grave in hostel sump in Hyderabad, owner booked

HYDERABAD: A young software engineer met a tragic end after accidentally falling into a water sump at Shanmukh Men's PG Hostel in Anjayya Nagar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The software engineer was identified as 24-year-old Akmal.

The Rayadurgam police sprang into action and registered a case against the owner of the hostel, holding him responsible for the safety lapse that led to Akmal's death. Investigations are currently underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.

The sudden and untimely demise of Akmal has left the tech community in shock.
