Stationary car catches fire in Chandanagar

HYDERABAD: A stationary car was gutted after fire broke out from it in Chandanagar of Hyderabad on Saturday. Luckily, there was no one inside the ill-fated vehicle, thus averting a major tragedy.

The car, a Tata Indigo, parked near the Municipal Office in Chandanagar, suddenly caught fire which rapidly spread across within seconds. People in the neighbourhood tried to douse the fire which was eventually put out with help of a fire tender and fire brigade.

The cause for the fire could not be ascertained immediately.
