HYDERABAD: Following the successful renovation of the dilapidated and neglected Bansilalpet stepwell, the HMDA and GHMC are getting ready to take up yet another prestigious assignment.


The TSRTC has entered into an agreement with the HMDA, GHMC, and Society for Advanced Endeavour (SAHE), an NGO, to renovate the stepwell located in the Falaknuma Bus Depot. The stepwell which was around 300 years old and in close proximity to the Falaknuma Palace was once used by the Nizam as a swimming pool.

Prior to the MOU, renowned architect Kalpana Ramesh, TSRTC, GHMC, and HMDA officials visited the stepwell on April 3.
