HYDERABAD: Two suspected sympathisers of terrorist activities were reportedly questioned by Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) under the Kalapathar police station limits of Old City in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

One of the two, Syed Faziullah Quadri (41), runs a medical shop in Ranjan Colony. However, according to reliable sources, Syed Faziullah Quadri was only treated as a witness by the ATS to record his statement in connection with a terror-related case. He is not an accused and was arrested by the ATS.

Reports claim that the statement of the other person, whose name and identity were not immediately established, was also recorded by the ATS on this occasion.

Further details of the ATS proceedings in the old city on Tuesday are yet to emerge.
