Three died during Ganesh immersion procession in Hyderabad
A four-year-old boy died after falling from a two-wheeler near Basheerbagh flyover while his parents were heading to Hussain Sagar lake for immersion
HYDERABAD: Three boys were killed in separate incidents during the Ganesh immersion procession in Hyderabad on Thursday night.
According to reports, a boy died on the spot near Sanjeevaiah Park after falling off a truck transporting an idol for immersion in the first incident. The deceased was identified as Praneet Kumar, a resident of Kishan Bagh area.
A four-year-old boy died after falling from a two-wheeler near Basheerbagh flyover while his parents were heading to Hussain Sagar lake for immersion, in the second incident.
In the third incident, a 14-year-old boy died in Pocharam in Ibrahimpatnam mandal after a tractor trolley fell on him during the Ganesh immersion procession. The deceased was identified as 14-year-old Sehnath from Cherlapatelguda.
Further investigation is underway.
