Traffic advisory for Telangana National Integration Day celebrations in Hyderabad on Sunday

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions on the eve of Telangana National Integration Day celebrations to be held at Central Lawns, Public Gardens in Nampally from 7 am to 1 pm on September 17.

DIVERSION POINTS

Taj Island: The general traffic coming from MJ Market and proceeding towards Public Garden would not be allowed and will be diverted on Taj Island towards Ek Minar – Bazar ghat –Asif Nagar- Red hills- Ayodya Hotel, Lakdikapul etc.

Chapel road ‘T’ junction: The general traffic coming from Nampally Railway Station towards Public Garden would not be allowed and would be diverted at Chapel road ‘T’ Junction towards Gunfoundry – Abids or BJR Statue – Basheerbagh flyover etc.

Old PS Saifabad: The general traffic coming from Nirankari Bhavan towards Ravindra Bharathi would not be allowed and it would be diverted at Old PS Saifabad towards Telephone Bhavan –Iqbal Minar – Secretariat road– Telugu Thalli – Ambedkar Statue– Liberty – Basheerbagh – Abids etc.

Basheerbagh Junction: The general traffic coming from Hyderguda, King Koti and going towards HTP Junction, Public Gardens would not be allowed and it would be diverted at Basheerbagh Junction towards Liberty – Telugu Thalli – NTR Marg – Iqbal Minar – Old PS Saifabad – Lakdikapul Bridge and BJR Statue -Abids etc.

Iqbal Minar: The general traffic coming from Tank Bund towards Ravindra Bharathi would not be allowed and it would be diverted at IqbalMinar towards Old PS Saifabad – Lakdikapool Bridges etc.

AR Petrol Pump: The general traffic coming from Sujatha School towards Public Garden would not be allowed and it would be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards BJR Statue.

Adarsh Nagar (New MLA Quarters): The general traffic going to Adarsh Nagar and Hyderabad Traffic Police Complex Junction would not be allowed and it would be diverted at Adarsh Nagar (New MLA Quarters) towards Liberty road and Telugu Talli Flyover.

 

However, car pass holders attending the Telangana National Integration Day celebrations would be allowed at all the diversion points. The general public is requested to take the above alternate routes and co-operate with the traffic police.
