TSRTC to run buses to Vijayawada via JBS from October 18
These bus services would be very useful to the passengers staying at Bowenpally, Secunderabad, JBS, Tarnaka, Habsiguda and Uppal areas
HYDERABAD: Upon receiving appeals from passengers, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to operate buses to Vijayawada via Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) starting October 18, 2023 without any change in the ticket fare.
In an official statement released by the TSRTC on Monday, the officials said that at present 24 services departing from BHEL and Miyapur would be operated through JBS instead of Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS). These services would reach Vijayawada via KPHB Colony, Balanagar, Bowenpally, JBS, Sangeet junction (Pushpak Point), Tarnaka (Pushpak Point), Habsiguda (Pushpak Point), Uppal (Pushpak Point) and LB Nagar.
At present, TSRTC buses from BHEL and Miyapur were going to Vijayawada via MGBS. Due to this, the passengers from JBS and Secunderabad and their surroundings were facing a herculean task to reach MGBS. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), TSRTC managing director VC Sajjanar said that the Corporation decided to operate 24 services to Vijayawada via JBS, based on the appeals made by the passengers.
These bus services would be very useful to the passengers staying in Bowenpally, Secunderabad, JBS, Tarnaka, Habsiguda and Uppal areas, Sajjanar said, and added that passengers could visit the TSRTC website for advance reservation of these services.
