Warangal man ends life after harassment by loan app recovery agents

WARANGAL: A 23-year-old man, Kambampati Vishnuvardhan, from Warangal, died by suicide on Thursday after being harassed by loan app recovery agents to repay his loans.

Reports indicate that Vishnuvardhan had borrowed Rs. 1-2 lakh from an online loan application company using his credit. He even informed his father about the agents' harassment, and his father assured him that he would take care of the loan. However, Vishnuvardhan ended his life even before he received help from his father.

A case was registered at Azam Jahi Mills colony police station in Warangal, and further investigation is underway
