Karnataka RTC bus narrowly escapes major accident in Sangareddy

HYDERABAD: A Karnataka RTC bus narrowly avoided a major accident in the early hours of Monday near Maddikunta in Sangareddy district.

The bus, travelling from Zaheerabad to Hyderabad, lost control and collided with a lorry on the national highway.

There were 30 passengers on board at the time of the accident. Of them, 25 suffered minor injuries. The injured passengers were immediately taken to the district government hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, bringing relief to those involved.

The collision caused a major traffic jam on the highway. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and cleared the congestion. A case has been registered, and further investigations are being conducted to ascertain the cause of the accident.
