Officials’ negligence puts farmers' lives at risk in Adilabad

HYDERABAD: In Adilabad district, the sudden release of water from the Satnala project without any prior warning put the lives of local farmers at risk. As the floodwaters rushed in, farmers were swept away in the Pendalwada stream but fortunately managed to escape unharmed.

Local residents expressed outrage at the officials' negligence, who failed to provide advance notice before opening the gates. The lack of warning led to dangerous situations, and people demanded better communication from the authorities to prevent such incidents in the future.
