Six-year-old boy killed after witnessing pig theft in Shadnagar

HYDERABAD: A six-year-old boy was killed after he witnessed a pig theft on Hajipalli Road of Shadnagar municipality in Rangareddy district.

On Friday night, a man named Ellayya was caught stealing pigs by Kattappa, the son of Durgaiah and Sayamma. Fearing that the child might expose his theft, Ellayya brutally killed the boy by hitting him with a stone.

The boy’s body was sent for a post-mortem and later handed over to the family. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
