Traffic constable dies by suicide by jumping in front of train in Ghatkesar

HYDERABAD: A traffic constable died by suicide by jumping in front of a train near Ghatkesar on Sunday.

The constable, Narasimha Raju, a 2009 batch constable with PC number 9782, was serving at the Gopalapuram Traffic Police Station in Hyderabad.

The incident took place near pole number 216, where Narasimha Raju reportedly ended his life. Upon receiving the information, police rushed to the scene and recovered his bike from the location. His body was sent to a government hospital for post-mortem.

Preliminary reports suggest that the constable may have taken this extreme step due to family problems. The police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the exact reasons behind the suicide.
