Noted film editor Gautam Raju, aged 68, passed away. He was one of the senior editors in the film industry. With an experience of over 4 decades, he worked with multiple filmmakers and contributed to several blockbusters across languages. As per the reports, Gautam Raju was suffering from kidney-related issues and he breathed his last in a private hospital while undergoing treatment.

Gautam Raju started his career with the 1982 released film Nalugu Stambalata which has become a very big hit at the box office back then. Later, he worked for many films across genres and has become a permanent editor for some directors.

Rajinikanth's Thalapathy, Sri Rama Rajyam, Assembly Rowdy, Khaidi No.150, Race Gurram, Gabbar Singh, Son of India, Adhurs, and many more are his notable films.

Gautam Raju's most recent work is Raamudu Anukoledhu Jaanaki Kalaganaledu.
