HYDERABAD: The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti expressed satisfaction over the arrangements of Ganesh Immersion in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The representatives of the Samiti inspected the arrangements on Tank Bund. General Secretary of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samiti, Bhagavanth Rao, said that they protested only for arrangements of this scale and complimented the police for their effort. He said that the effort was not to be attributed to any political party or religion and must be celebrated by everyone.
Hyderabad's famous Khairatabad Ganesh was also being prepared for immersion, generally called Mahaganapati Shobhayatra. The shed, in which the idol was installed, was also removed on Thursday. The organisers were taking special precautions as the idol was made of soil. The vehicle was also arranged. On the other hand, as it was the last day, devotees flocked to visit Khairatabad Ganesh.
